$13 – $24
Boi Khe Pagoda is situated in Boi Khe village (Thanh Oai, Hanoi, Vietnam), about 25 km to the South from the central of Hanoi capital. It is said to be built in 1338 during the Tran Dynasty (King Tran Hien Tong).
Boi Khe Pagoda shares a close connection with Tram Gian Pagoda (Tien Ly, Chuong My, Hanoi, Vietnam) because both pagodas worship the same deity – Saint Boi. It was a working center of the Boi Khe guerrilla troupe during the French war.
After nearly 680 years of existence, Boi Khe Pagoda is still standing tall throughout many ups and downs of Vietnamese history. It is not only the place of spirit, religion for villagers in Boi Khe, but also a well-known destination for international and domestic visitors. Boi Khe Pagoda houses many values of architecture, religion and history. It is considered to be a cultural library for people to visit, learn, consult from previous generations – people who built this magnificent pagoda.
